My Top 3 priorities will be:

2. To focus on American history education and become #1 in the state

As an army intelligence officer, I have extensive training in safety and security. As a former school district administrator, I participated in multiple school safety exercises to improve coordination between local law enforcement, school officials, and the community. Preparation and rehearsal are vital in keeping our students safe. School
Safety Plan:
- Ensure the locking of classroom doors during school hours by having administrators do random checks
- Control visitor access to campus through a single point of entry
- Screening all campus visitors
- Empowering all staff to activate an emergency response
- All staff should be able to identify the safest space in every classroom
- Provide emergency covers for all classroom windows
- Coordinating with first responders before a campus emergency and conduct exercises
- Train guardians with the tools and skills to protect our children

Parents are the primary decision-makers for their children - NOT the government!
As a school board member, I will represent the interests of ALL families, whether they choose to homeschool or enroll in private, religious, or public school. I was homeschooled, attended a Christian school, and ultimately graduated from a public high school. I believe the school board's role is to support ALL families in providing the best education for their children.
I will believe we should:
- Require parental consent for student medical services or club memberships.
- Support families with special needs students by providing access to additional resources.
- Encourage Parental involvement

Our teachers and staff are in the trenches, working hard every day. I taught in Lake Schools in the Fall, and I am certified in History and Education Leadership. We need to partner with a Chick-fil-A-type leadership program to help train our teachers, staff, and students to create schools of excellence.
I call this the R3 Plan
- Increase staff pay. Recruit the best & brightest by partnering with colleges
- Retain high-quality teachers and staff with a robust Recognition and incentives program.
- Direct more of the district budget into classrooms.
- Remove burdensome regulations and paperwork to free teachers to teach.
- Support student discipline policies that instill respect for authority and promote safety.

I believe education should equip students to become citizens of intellect and character for lives of excellence. The focus on citizenship and teaching students an informed patriotism will be crucial focus.
My plan also includes:
- Character-based training infused into the school day, respect, honesty, integrity, citizenship
- Make Lake County the #1 district in Florida for American History & Civics
- Expand STEM education opportunities for students through business partnerships
- Financial literacy training
- Expand access to technical education, trades, and apprenticeships through partnerships
- Restrict the use of cell phones during school hours
- Eliminate vaping on campus
- Protect girls’ sports. Keep boys out of girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms.
- Protect students from radical gender ideology!

Our curriculum should be coherent, knowledge-based, and teacher-led, Incorporating citizenship across the subjects. It should:
- Focus on education, not indoctrination! Keep CRT out of the classroom!
- Protect the rights of parents and the public to review textbooks and classroom materials.
- Incorporate resiliency lessons and Character education into current subjects to equip students for life

Government is rarely innovative or efficient. But it should be! As a county commissioner, I helped save millions through various proposals to provide better service at a lower cost. One example was privatizing mosquito control; we got better service at a lower cost. If we are creative, we can put more resources in the classroom and keep taxes low.
- Protect the public’s right to speak at School Board meetings.
- Serve as a good steward of tax dollars.
- Increase transparency of the budget by creating an interactive online budget tool for the public
