
Gavin Rollins is a local government and litigation attorney dedicated to fighting for his clients in the courtroom. He brings a proven record of public service, having served two terms as a Clay County Commissioner, where he championed taxpayer savings, government innovation, and greater transparency to make local government more open and accessible.
Gavin also co-founded FireWatch, a veteran suicide prevention initiative that now equips veterans and their communities with tools to navigate the stresses of military life. For his countless hours of community volunteer work, he was awarded the Presidential Service Medal.
Gavin has served 18 years in the Army National Guard in both part-time and full-time roles. He deployed to a combat zone in the Horn of Africa for nearly a year as an Army Intelligence officer supporting counter-terrorism operations and defending US Embassies. He has also been activated for multiple hurricanes and other missions. He was selected for a prestigious two-year tour of duty in the National Capital Region as an executive officer helping craft policy impacting all 50 states. He has been a company commander and is currently in the rank of major in a part-time role with the 164th Air Defense Artillery in Orlando. He has received numerous military awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal.
Gavin serves on the Lake County Water Authority, working to keep the County’s lakes and waterways clean and accessible to the public.
